Coping Wheel for Children

During these trying times, our little ones cannot comprehend the chaos around them. As parents we protect and shelter them from the outside world. We need to equip our little ones with coping mechanisms when they are feeling overwhelmed. Most of us are working remotely and our children are at home doing remote learning.

It is important that we create a safe space in our home environment for our children and allow them to express their feelings and emotions. However young children do not have the emotional intelligence to deal with their emotions that can lead to a spiral of uncontrolled emotions. So, equipping them with outlets is important so they feel safe and secure in the home.

This coping wheel offers some advice on activities to do with your children when the chaos and clutter just gets too much for them.
